Zainab Alert, operated by the Citizens-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC), is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect and use your information through the Zainab Alert mobile application.
When using the app, you may be asked to provide personal details such as your name, CNIC number, and mobile phone number. In order to assist with active investigations, the app also allows you to upload a picture of a missing child along with other relevant details. Last known location, dress worn and footwear is also requested to help identify nearby incidents or support the recovery process.
All information provided is used solely for the purpose of protecting children by issuing alerts and enabling coordination with law enforcement agencies. We do not sell or share your information for marketing or any purposes except to facilitate recovery of missing child. Any data shared is only with authorized government or law enforcement authorities and strictly for investigative or legal requirements.
We maintain strict data protection practices and implement technical and organizational safeguards to secure the information you provide. You are always in control of what you share.
While the app serves to protect children, it is intended for use by responsible adults such as parents, guardians, or law enforcement personnel. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18 without parental or legal guardian consent.
We may revise this Privacy Policy periodically. Any updates will be communicated within the app or published on our official website.
